De Paul Scholars
In honor of the 400th anniversary of Vincentian Charism 鈥� inspired by St. Vincent de Paul 鈥� the 糖心视频 is re-doubling its efforts to affordably meet the educational needs of Kansas students.
USM has developed a unique financial aid package for full Pell Grant recipients. This offer will eliminate any tuition costs above and beyond those covered by federal and state aid and federal loans.
There are two versions of the program available: One for students who live on campus, and on of students who do not. For students living on campus, the De Paul Program will cover costs of a room in USM's Maria Residence Hall - but not the cost of a meal plan. USM's residency requirements apply.
Annual Federal and State Aid for a Typical Full-Pell Student at USM
Pell (grant aid) - $5,900
SEOG (grant aid) - $1,000
Federal Work Study - $2,100
Kansas Comprehensive Grant - $3,500
Federal Loans* - $5,500
Total Government Aid - $18,000
*Please note: Federal loans are debt and must be repaid.
The De Paul Program Breakdown
Program Qualifications
- Student must reside in Kansas.
- Student must minimum traditional admissions requirements at USM of an 18 composite ACT score (or SAT equivalent) and a 2.5 high school GPA.
- Student must be eligible for a full Pell Grant
- Currently, the program is only available for incoming freshman students.
De Paul program funding is renewable annually and guaranteed for a student for up to four years - if the student entered USM as a traditional freshman - so long as, the student remains in good academic standing and full-time status, and maintains continuous enrollment.
