Fieldwork Experience
Saint Mary recognizes fieldwork as a crucial element of occupational therapy education, requiring three Level II Fieldwork placements, which uniquely gives USM's OTD students even more opportunity to critically think and reason. A Level I Fieldwork experience always follows coursework specifically addressing a specialty area, further developing a student’s hands-on skills and applying learning that occurred throughout the didactic curriculum.
