(Leavenworth, Kansas) – The ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ men's and women's swimming teams
have yet again been named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving
Coaches Association of America. Each team is recognized based on outstanding academic
performance during the Spring 2025 semester.
This comes as no surprise as both the men's and women's swim teams have received this
honor every semester dating back to 2018 when the program first launched.
The Executive Director of the CSCAA, Samantha Barany, praised the honorees explaining,
"These teams exemplify what it means to be true student-athletes. Their dedication
to academic excellence, alongside their athletic commitments, is both impressive and
inspiring. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate their hard work and achievement."
To qualify for the CSCAA national recognition, teams had to earn a 3.0 cumulative
GPA. The Spires women's team earned a 3.59 GPA, ranking them top 10 in the nation,
while the men finished with a 3.62 that landed them in the top 5.
