Students are expected to be academically prepared. Prerequisite courses are used to determine if students have the essential foundational knowledge preparing them for the athletic training program.

The prospective student must complete or show current enrollment in the following courses.

Required
  • Human Anatomy and Physiology with a Lab
    *If anatomy and physiology are split (i.e. A & P I/II) the sequence must be completed and include labs.

  • General Biology

  • Chemistry

  • Physics

  • General Psychology

Recommended​
  • First Aid and CPR

  • Nutrition 

  • Kinesiology or Biomechanics

  • Exercise Physiology

  • Statistics
